Brokpa

The ‘Brokpa’ (meaning: people of solitude) tribe is the oldest & purest human tribe inhabiting 7 Himalayan villages down the Indus river. The tribe, limited to less than 5k members, is known for their distinctive features & way of ethnicity preservation. Brokpa’ is a unique art project by artist Melvin Thambi and renowned travel photographer Hari Menon. Sound Design by Lami.
